Anyway this weekend my friend Avery invited me to join him in going to teh VGExpo in Philly. WE where gonna invite more people along but most where busy with work, except Anthony joined us. We eventually made it into Philly via bus and subway to teh Convention Center. Luckily when we arrived at my first gaming Expo I had ever been to some nice lady gave us passes that her and someone else already bought, also Avery had a friend who got him in free. After that nice entrance we all scouted around before entering the Retro con which I will mention more later on about. We then came to the crappy Anime Festival section that had narutards and crappy fat art in a small room. I did find one good artwork among them all... [link] . After leaving that and passing by a lame Magic The Gathering room, we went to scout out teh main hall. Their was DeVry stand that was empty there. XD Also other things like America's Army, Intel, and some other company and gaming organization stands. It wasn't huge but nice for my first Expo of gaming. They had WOW and CS tournaments there and some lame Star Wars lightsaber duels. The classic arcade cabinets where set up rather nice I think, anything else playable wasn't as easily approachable or set up as nice. There Avery ran into some friends from college, Justin and Justin. We Then went to The Gallery, a mall or something in Philly, to eat for a break. What thing I found teh best was the Retro con which had classic and Japanese import games, making me wish I brought Masa with me. Their we saw all kinds of systems. They even had a Neo Geo and Atari 5200, both of which are bigger than a PS3! There where Famicons, Collecovisions, and Intellavisions. The Japanese games seemed to be some good collectors and crappy anime games. I found a few games I have wanted for a while and a helpful site hopefully... [link] . I got Marvel Vs Capcom 2 for the Dreamcast for $60, when teh PS2 version goes for $80 used at a Gamestop. Ask me about teh Retro con sometime I enjoyed it very much. Along with teh 45 different King OF Fighters games for teh Neo Geo. We then had to leave eventually and I hopeful did not forget to get any good games while I was there. On the way out Avery had us meet up with Justin and his friends, where we parted ways with our okay day. Afterward we headed to Anthony and Greg's to order pizza and play teh game, eventually Rashaad and Alvin joined in on some fun and that was the night, well except a cool RA came by and saw my awesome poster. :3 I wish I had a camera, well that's it for now, ask me about it.
